Logwood Dye Powder, 16 oz. package Easy to use dyes made from real logwood. Intended for use in dying steel traps a deep black, but these dyes also work well for cloth, yielding colors ranging from tan to dull purple-grey to deep gunmetal grey, depending on the cloth, the dye bath pH and the mordant used. For richer, longer lasting colors the crystals are best, and mordant your textiles with Alum, available at your local pharmacy, or Copperas, available at any good garden shop. Instructions included.
